Reply from Sharon...

Melody does the analysis. She'll get to it tomorrow. I just looked at it. Madam, you have done a better job with this return than many CPAs! There are problems. But, I think, we're gonna tell you how to fix them for free. You can become a client, if you WANT to do so. I don't think you NEED to do so.

I would appreciate it if you would post my reply on the internet forum where you found me. It might help to dispell the notion that EVERYONE needs only MY help. It's not true. YOU are an example.

Dang didn't make it this weekend either. Nathan got sick. Found out after an ER visit today that he has Strep. Maybe one night this week? I'll try and call you Wednesday or Thursday night after 5pm CST.

It's Sher, Hon.

You can pay your g'child up to $599 with no additional paperwork. Don't go over that on your return.

I pay my 5 year old grandchild to help me in the daycare, she picks up toys, brings me diapers, plays with the kids, etc. I know you can deduct what you pay your own kids, but can I deduct what I pay her also? Also, I have my house cleaned weekly, I pay mostly by cash/receipt...is this tax deductible also?

Thank you Shirley for all your help!

I've emailed you two different times today with my latest tax return. Both have come back undeliverable. I want you to review my latest and see what else is wrong. And where do I put what wages I paid my 3 year old? And on my payment method for daycare you told me to put Other - Hybrid. What does Hybrid mean in relation to daycare payments? I thought I was to use cash method?

Okay Melody helped me with the payment method and all the other stuff (I think). One last question in for her (or you) about the $532 on line 34 of my Car & Truck work sheet. She said to make sure there is a 0 there but it has $532 and says it is automatically calculated. I just need to know what that is and what to do about it being there.

It would apply IF you had used the percentage of actual expenses method. You used the Standard Mileage method because it worked better for you. That was the right thing to do.

The problem they were getting my emails. Not sure what the problem was, but they are going through now. Well to Melody anyway. Sharon's still come back undeliverable.
