Its my turn to bring something to our assoication meeting for show n tell..

I took a $39 shelf from target
bought a long board and had dh cut it into three pieces ($11)
took some pegs that we had laying around from an old entertainment center
and made myself a naptime bedding shelf.

There is room for 6 mats. I'm going to get some more wood and get 2 more shelves made so I have room for 8 mats.

I like the shelf so much, that I may buy 1 or 2 more and do the same thing again, one for toys and one for my papers and supplies.

To me it was SOOO much easier and CHEAPER than trying to find something that already had skinny shelves.

oh how nifty!!! I LIKE IT I LIKE IT!!

I cant use mats I have dumb cots :P

But I can think of other ways to use this same type of shelf -
Personal items like cubbies
toys
books with puppets
If they were shorter you could put 2 of them back to back ........and put a changing mat on top and walla a changing table .....ohh gesh the ideas are comming I am on a roll!

We have a warehouse near us ..its a UGLY building but they sell wooden cabinets and such ... I have ideas from going in there .. the bathroom vanities .. were like $36 those would make awesome changing tables .. IF IF i ever have my dream come true!
