I was wondering what you are getting the daycare kids for Christmas presents?

What about parents - do you get them something or just have the kids make something?

I am having the kids make a cook book from the kids!

I am getting my sister to help me make fudge, cookies, etc. and we will put them on plates and wrap them in colored saran wrap. I will give each family a plate. I already have the plates. This will be the first year to do this for me.

I am using my printer to print out iron on pictures of the kids. I will iron each picture on a canvas stocking. I am using a fabric marker to write in their name and the words....Happy Holidays 2007.

In the stocking I am placing a sea salt scrub that the kids and I are making using some sea salt that I bought at Hobby Lobby and some scents I got at the local natural food store. They will glue cotton balls around the edge of the stocking.

I LOVE crafting with the kids...can you tell????

Fun Ideas!!

I forgot to check back here - bad bad me!! (darn snow threw me off!)

I took gift bags from target - they were adorable with button pattern all over them - I put in it muffins and cookies .. and then put hole punches in the top when it was folded over and threaded a candy cane through it!

I handed them out today and told the parents that was for them from me and my family!

I'm shopping online next year - LPP showed me that you can shop online from the ads that they place for the day after Thanksgiving! No more crowds for me either!

I kept it very simple this year. I bought a peg puzzle for a 16 mo old and $3 24 piece puzzles for the rest. The parents get a card, with a few pictures of their kids. The kids will be bringing home presents for their parents and we've been doing a lot of christmas craft. I think that is enough.

bre i think your right!!

I am doing this

My older children are getting soft back book, can of playdough and a coloring book and some goodies

my babies are getting ahard back book , baby toy, and a biter biscuit

Toddlers who are still young are getting a book , sippy cup (because both of my parents still think that the kids need bottles), and some goodies

Goodies - I purchased a the treat bag of m&m's, and some whale crackers in the individual pouches.

I am wrapping the books
the other items are going in a brown sack that I will stamp with a snow man stamp and run ribbon through the top - pretty and fun the kids like to unwrap I really think they care less about what is inside!

I have pictures of the kids I am framing and that is now the parents present ..my snowman rugs dont have time for me ..or I dont have time for them .......... ok they look like pooey! they just didnt turn out .
