i had a totally great day time yesterday working on projects with my little kids. What we did was a simple project that I WON from http://www.myspace.com/daycareproviderspalace through this site.

I did do a little adaptations, can't help it I always do. I added the poem "rain rain go away" in the shorten version, because of my children's age. We were also able to do a small counting lesson 1-2 -3 count the rain drops. I had the children mount the umbrella on a piece of paper and we used some craft eyes that I had instead of paper. In some ways I should have stayed with the paper ones, I know that small children like to put things in their mouths and the eyes could fall off and be eaten, but I decided I'd let the parents deal with that. The kids ( 21 mo, 2 and 2.5) had such a fun time.
here is an example of our project

So Cute >>> I am so glad you and those special children you care for enjoyed this!

As a parent I know when my kids came home with special projects the joy in their faces were priceless .. Even precut projects are learning experiences ..
