Does anyone do these? Can you share some ideas on what you put together and how you put together as well as storage?

I think Monthly boxes count as prop boxes ... ya think?

For example you could have a
January box
books about January
imitation snow
file folder games with snow related objects
snow flake stamps
hot and cold water bottles
bean bag style put the snow man together

New Years items

Staplers (depending on children's age; teach appropriate use)
Pens & Pencils
Pencil sharpener
Old Typewriter -- if it works, that's even better! (you may need to explain what it is to some children)
Computer keyboard
Phone
Cell Phone
File Folders & File Box
Blank Labels
Phone Book
Old Day Planner
Plastic paper trays
Any other items you might find in an office!

Bug Scientist Kit:
plastic suitcase
25 plastic bugs
2 magnifying glasses
7 bugs in plastic cases (we found the bugs and used super glue to put them in small cases designed to hold beads. The cover is glued on as well)
a lab coat (boys white long sleeved shirt)
bug matching game (purchased at the dollar spot in Target several yrs ago)

The icky bug alphabet book
clipboard with pencil and paper to draw bugs

Hairdressers Kit
plastic suitcase
2 plastic brushes
4 plastic combs
toy blow dryer
1 child sized smock (paint smock from Ikea)
1 doll sized smock (I made)
1 hairdressers smock (purchased)
1 plastic mirror
2 plastic spray bottles and 1 pretend powder (from an old doll set)
2 nail brushes
1 pretend nail file
1 pr play dough scissors (look real, won't cut anything)
hair style book (from the hairdresser)

laminated pages from yellow pages (beauty supply houses)
small plastic cash box with pretend money

The Pet Shop and Groomer kit
1 carrying case with a sectioned container shelf on top (instead of the suitcase)
