I wanted to share what I do.

We do flash cards but we do them with cute paper pages - those $3 note books from the teacher store they have some very cute ones to go with each month. I change them monthly.

We all look at the name .. we all say the name 3 times .. then the childs name it is gets into the middle of the circle .. the child who has name shown gets to dance as the other children clap and we sing
something about the child that the child picks

Sally has a red dress red dress red dress
Sally has a red dress red dress red dress on today!

Billy has new shoes

Maria has hair ribbons

Tommy has a blue jacket

This is one way to get up and move ... a child who sits and does not move ... - Is a child that needs to move!!!
This is very important for right brain left brain stimulation!
