Doing well...my dd just joined girl scouts...keeping me too busy. Can't keep up. I am co-leader.
It is really insane. The leader is an unorganized mess. And well us dcp can't handle that too well...
Kids running around with no direction...no patches earned yet...and meetings 3 hours long?!
I might just switch her to another troop...she sold 425 boxes of cookies though...lol

3 hour long meetings are too long!!!
my dd use to have 1 hour meetings once a week!
play
new song
play a game
talk about badges
have a snack and go home!

Welcome and yes we only did 1 hour or 1 1/2 hour meetings in our girl scout troop meeting. You guys need structure and guidance. Can you call the main leader because they would be willing to help you or give you ideas.. It will be hard at first but later it should come easy now that everyone knows the rules. You need to have a board with rules, give each girl scout a job at every meeting. I am sorry your are thinking of leaving the troop. I sure hope you can do something.
