Is there a reason why I don't want hardwood in these rooms? Tile is so fragile and cold!!

I love hardwood because it is pretty and easier to clean. If you get tile you have to clean the grout now and then that can get very tedious quick. The next time I get my home and put hardwood floors and I would do radiant heating in the floors. It would be wonderful. I would do lanolium in the laundry/mudroom. Again much easier to clean and easy to replace if it get damaged in the long run. When you get lanolium makes sure it isn't all one color. The busier the pattern looks the cleaner the floors look and also don't get the cheapest or the most expensive lanolium. Get the medium price range because I did that on my last house it was sturdy, thicker and it looked wonderful. Just some tips.
