Started crying at nap time and woke up all the other kids after they had been asleep for like 45 minutes! Man am I ticked! She hasn't been here in a week and is mad because she had to lay down at nap time. And go figure now that they are all awake she has fallen asleep!

I had one like that. I had a boy that was determined to not take a nap. I spoke to his mom about it and when she didn't agree that he needed to nap, I reminded her that my handbook states that all children in my care take naps. She still fought it. I tried having him lay down and look at a book, but he would always bug the other kids. Eventually, she decided that I was basically being paid to watch "sleeping" children and pulled her son.

I have never had that problem with any other child. Let me know what you end up doing about this.

I have one that is LOUD! OMG she is LOUd!

Well her mom will tell you she has one "big mouth"

She has one doll when she walks in the door she seeks it ... it seems to be the doll of my daycare ... when my grandson was little and fussy he claimed it ..then my other grandson did too ... he always seemed to lay his head on it and have his fits ......well now DCG is now using it as her security ... so I toss the doll in the wash and the doll sort of stays in her bed. ... when she wakes up we can hear her jibber jabber to the doll.....sure beats that high pitch grunting she does!

We had about 18 3-4 yr. olds in my room. They all fell asleep but sometimes we would have one that wouldn't!
That's why I am only going to take care of one or two in my home. Tommorrow my little 6week old Sam will be coming for his first time!!! I am so excited :D
