Sharon what do you need from a individual to do there taxes.

I use CK for my receipts such as groceries / toys etc...
I also use it for my t/ s %

What would I need to send to you if I were to take this route this time ...

I guess this is sort of a fear I wont enter my receipts correctly for you ..does that make since?

What are the fees and how are they paid? Can you do rapid refund?

Thanks for your advice :)

I wrote a letter to my parents with my info on it and the the amount they paid me last year. Had them sign that the W - 10 seemed like an extra hand out I gave them with the same info on it.

Thanks for the info!

[b] Your letter is just fine. The W-10 is not required.

[b] I'd like to review 2004, 5, 6 again and make sure you've got all the refund you can get. If you do, then you just send us a CLIENT SIGNUP SHEET http://nelsonandriley.biz/policies.asp, pay your $100 deposit thru PayPal from our site and then fax or email your HELP SHEETS, W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, etc. We go to work on the project, asking questions along the way thru email. When we have it done, we notify you of the result and email you an invoice. You pay that thru PayPal and we email you the return. You attach your W-2s and mail it.

NO, we don't do rapid refund. It is a very bad deal for the client. The interest rates on those loans START at 700% (that's seven HUNDRED percent). I get solicited by banks every year but, it's my job to SAVE my clients' money, not cost them unnessary fees.

If we can complete your return and you pay us in January, we give you an additional fee discount. For that purpose we use the last paycheck stub instead of W-2. When you get the W-2 you fax it to us. This should happen the first week of February. We double check it, and email you your copies. You attach your W-2s and mail it. You can have your refund back in 10 days with direct deposit you can have your refund back in 10 days.

How do you know? If he doesn't KNOW Tom Copeland, personally, he shouldn't touch your tax return. YOU'RE better off taking him printouts of my articles instead of Tom's books. All of my articles have been reviewed by Tom Copeland, THE tax lawyer for HCC. I've taken the law and translated it into plain English. http://nelsonandriley.biz/news.asp?acti ... ategory=22 Even a layman can understand my articles.

That doesn't mean he does your tax returns right, Sugar. I'm working on a tax return, right now, done by a CPA, who didn't use Form 8829, BUSSINES USE OF THE HOME. If the Provider ever gets caught, they'll HANG her.

I review tax returns for FREE. I am a REAL expert. 80% of my client base is Home Child Care. Just fax us a prior year return with a cover sheet. The cover sheet should have your phone # and email addy. The service is FREE.

We analyze the return and email you a report. If we don't hear back, we shred the project. Altho you are welcome to call the office, post to me here or email me questions, I WILL NOT STALK YOU. This will be my first year to file as a "business" because I've never kept up with deductions before this year. I've always done my own taxes. And I don't see how I can have more than $7500 in deductions. I have everything entered as far as I can tell by using CK Kids. So from reading other replies here for $100 I can have you review 04-06 taxes and you will do this year's taxes for me as well? And what forms from CK-Kids would I email you?

[b]No, Hon. Your review is FREE. There is no $100. We email you an analysis of a past return or review your current return. Ask Deb. If you become a client, THEN there is a $100 deposit, which is deducted from your final fee. I'd like to see the last 3 years of returns, still free. Our high score for amending 3 past years of returns, for a Provider, and doing the current year fresh is $14,000 in refunds plus interest. The fee was something over $1500. Our fees are not based on your refunds. That's illegal, actually.

[b] NO, Hon. It cost her about $1500 in fees for us to AMEND three past years of returns and do a fourth year fresh. That's us correctly processing FOUR years of tax returns. That resulted in her receiving $14,000 in additional refunds PLUS interest. She received almost $15,000 in additional refunds and spent just over $1500 in fees to do it. You hand me that deal and I'll do it all day long and twice on Sunday! You won't?

If you employ us to process your current year return, and pay us in January, you get a fee discount. You will receive a fee discount for being a member here. You will receive a fee discount for referring another person who signs up as a client. You see, we don't advertise anywhere. I turned our clients into our marketing staff about 20 years ago. How much better advertising can you get than a recomendation by a happy client?

One year, one of our clients taught classes for Licensing. She referred so many additional clients that, not only did she NOT owe us any additional fees, we had to refund $30 of her deposit and this was back when the deposit was only $50. The harder a client works for us, the more we appreciate it in the only way that matters, in her wallet. That's why I can't give you a fee structure.

The hostess of this site is not a client, yet. Why? Because for two years in a row, we critiqued her self-prepared return and gave her FREE advice. I answered her like I would answer questions from any friend and I don't even know the State she lives in. Ask her. Why? Because I am in awe of you Providers. She took advantage of my offer.

I couldn't do y'all's job for more than two hours without ending up in handcuffs. If I hadn't shot one of the DCKs for noise, I'd have offed one of the parents for sure. I don't have the mentality for it.

I believe in paying it forward, doing a kindness. And now, LOOK, because I helped her for free, she has a forum exposing me to a lot more potential clients. And she has a HCC TAX expert on hand to answer TAX questions. How is that not a WIN for everyone concerned?

[b] The deduction for your house (Form 8829 which flows to Schedule C, Line 30) should be over $7500 alone. If you have 5 or 6 full time DCKs, your food expense should be over $7500.

I didn't start getting a FP check until June of this year because my license didn't start until April. I'm confused on the house deduction. I'm going to need help with that one. I have ordered Turbo Tax Home & Business 2007. When it gets here and I get started I will be asking lots of questions on my other post I have started! LOL

[b] Whether or not you receive FP money has NOTHING to do with your deducting food expense! They are two completely different things. The FP, generally, pays for only one snack. DCs typically serve two snacks. You can deduct what you serve, no matter for what your are paid. Like I said, $7500 in expenses is NUTS. Your cell phone can be over $1000 alone!

Print out the HELP SHEETS. http://nelsonandriley.biz/daycare_help.asp You're missing a helluva lot of expenses. Your Car and Truck Expenses can be $3000! . Take a look at them and get back to me. If you didn't keep track, you can reconstruct. My reviews are FREE. I will help you, client or not.

Your profession is essential to the health of the country! Every child you care for, give a good life foundation, is one less child that will grow up to be a car jacker. That's kind of important to me and, I'm sure, to their families. My helping you is an example of me Paying it Forward.

Can you do what I can do, even with my guidence? NO! But, I can't do what you do, either. I have enuf humility to admit that.

It depends on your local licensing.
